Kampala, Uganda – The police in Kampala metropolitan have kicked off an investigation into tragic incident involving a decomposing body of a male adult that was discovered yesterday along Kamwokya Kira Road in Bukoto, Nakawa division.
Responding to this publication regarding the tragic incident, the spokesperson of Kampala Metropolitan police Patrick Onyango disclosed that their officers were alerted at 12:30 pm, and the body was taken to City Mortuary for further examination.”The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death,” said Onyango
He however, urged anyone with information about tragic incident to come forward and assist their team that investigating the matter. “We assure the public that we are doing everything possible to ensure the safety and security of all citizens in Kampala.” Said Onyango
The identity of the deceased is currently unknown, and no arrests have been made yet according to the KMP spokesperson. The police are working to determine the cause of death and identify potential suspects.
The investigation is ongoing, and the police will provide updates as more information becomes available.
