Kampala, Uganda – The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has issued a final reminder to heads of UCE centers to submit project work and Continuous Assessment (CA) scores for S4 candidates under the new lower secondary curriculum.
Today, October 30th, 2024, is the last day for submission, and UNEB has warned that learners whose scores are not submitted will not be graded.
“All those responsible for the submission of this school based assessment work for the candidates are hereby put on notice to ensure that they do so before closure of business today.”Jennifer Kalule-Musamba, Principal Public Relations Officer, emphasized in today’s press release
Kalule added, “The submission is done online via the school portals using the Assessment Management Information System (AMIS) tool that was provided to all schools during and after the training sessions by UNEB.”
To support schools facing challenges, UNEB has set up a Rapid Response Team, reachable through toll-free lines: 0800-111-427 or 0800-211-077.
Alternatively, schools can upload scores and project work on CDs and deliver them to UNEB offices in Kyambogo or Ntinda.
The Continuous Assessment Scores contribute 20% to the final achievement of candidates.
UNEB urged Parents and guardians to cross check with the schools of their candidate children to confirm if their scores and project work has been submitted to UNEB to ensure no candidate is left out.
