The Police in Nateete are investigating a murder incident that occurred in the early hours of April 15, 2024, at Nateete Central B Zone, Mabiito, Rubaga Division, Kampala District.
According to first hand information, at approximately 04:45 hours, a dispute arose between Mr. Kintu Ronald, alias Rasta, and Ms. Natukunda Janat, an alleged sex worker, over financial support for their child’s medical treatment.
“Unfortunately, the altercation escalated, resulting in Mr. Kintu Ronald being stabbed in the neck and chest with a knife. Despite immediate efforts to transport him to Mengo Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries upon arrival.” Said the KMP deputy spokesperson
Police say they swiftly initiated investigations, leading to the apprehension of Ms. Natukunda Janat, who is currently in custody.
“The crime scene was meticulously examined by our specialized teams, leading to the recovery of the murder weapon, a knife.” Said Oweyesigyire
He also disclosed that forensic evidence including swabs and photographs were collected from the crime scene for further analysis.
He further revealed that the body of the deceased was conveyed to the city mortuary for a comprehensive post-mortem examination as more details inregards to the tragic incident awaits.
