New cabinet ministers to be vetted by Parliament on Monday 25th

New Ministers recently nominated to the Cabinet are scheduled to appear before the Parliamentary Appointments Committee for vetting.

The vetting programed to commence at 10:00am on Monday will see six nominees scrutinized.

According to the list, Woman Member of Parliament for Kitgum District Lillian Aber will be the first to appear.

She will be followed by Phiona Nyamutoro the National Youth Female Member of Parliament.

Others on the list include Dr. Kenneth Omona who was the Presidential Private Secretary, Gen Wilson Mbasu Mbadi, Florence Wamala Nambozo the woman Representative for Sironko District and Balaam Barugahara.

The letter containing the vetting schedule invites Members of Parliament sitting on the Appointments Committee to interact with the newly nominated Members of Cabinet.

This follows communication in which the Head of State nominated the six as Ministers of State in various dockets.
