Kampala, Uganda – Ugandan singer Patrick Mulwana, popularly known as Alien Skin, has been remanded to Luzira Prison until December 9, 2024, after being charged with robbery.
The controversial musician appeared before Grade One Magistrate Esther Adikini on Wednesday afternoon, denying any involvement in the alleged robbery.
According to reports, Alien Skin is accused of robbing Salim Mubiru of an iPhone 15 Pro worth UGX 3.5 million, UGX 480,000 in cash, and a wallet on September 28, 2024. The incident’s circumstances are unclear, but the state prosecutor claims investigations are complete, paving the way for a trial.
The court ordered Alien Skin to be remanded to Luzira Prison until December 9, 2024, when he is expected to return for further proceedings.
This isn’t Alien Skin’s first run-in with the law. He was previously involved in assaulting medical staff at Nsambya Hospital. Additionally, he was also involved in a scuffle with events promoter Mukasa Alphonse, commonly known as Bajjo, which resulted in a car shooting.
