UPPC Staff Association Scores Big with Gaddafi FC Acquisition

Kampala, Uganda – The Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation (UPPC) staff association has made a strategic move into the sports world, acquiring Gaddafi FC, a football club competing in the local league.

The acquisition aims to boost UPPC’s brand visibility, customer loyalty, and sales growth while tapping into the vibrant sports community.

“We are excited to venture into football, promoting talent development and networking opportunities,” read the statement from UPPC staff association

The newly integrated team, under Coach Allan Kabonge, has already shown promise with a 1:1 draw against Karo Karungi FC. Their next match is scheduled for Sunday, October 13, 2024, against Kigezi Home Boys at Entebbe VWorks Stadium – Namate.

Gaddafi FC boasts talented players, including Savio Kabugo, Tom Kakaire, Samuel Kawawa, and Devis Kasirye.

The UPPC staff association invites the public to support their football club, with entrance fees set at 5,000 UGX (free entry for children under 18).
