UBC TV Temporarily Suspends AFCON Qualifiers Broadcasts

Cranes vs South Sudan Match Falls Victim to Broadcast Disruption

Kampala, Uganda – Ugandan football fans will miss out on watching their national team, the Uganda Cranes, take on South Sudan today after Uganda Broadcasting Corporation Television (UBC TV) announced a temporary disruption to its football broadcasts.

The unexpected disruption, attributed to circumstances beyond UBC TV’s control, affects not only today’s highly anticipated match at Mandela National Stadium but also upcoming games until October 15.

UBC TV’s partners have failed to provide necessary broadcast parameters, prompting the corporation to issue an apology to its viewers.

“We sincerely regret the inconvenience this may cause and assure our viewers that we are working closely with our partners to resolve this issue as soon as possible,” UBC TV stated.

Football enthusiasts will have to explore alternative viewing options or wait until the broadcast issue is resolved.
