Museveni Meets Ukrainian Ambassador, Discusses Economic Cooperation & Security

ENTEBBE – President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni held a meeting with the Ambassador of Ukraine to Uganda, H.E. Andrii Pravednyk, on Friday, June 7, 2024, at State House, Entebbe. The meeting focused on strengthening diplomatic ties and exploring new avenues for collaboration between the two nations.

During the courtesy call, President Museveni and Ambassador Pravednyk engaged in fruitful discussions on various areas of mutual interest, including economic cooperation, trade relations, and security. The meeting underscored the commitment of both Uganda and Ukraine to deepening their partnership and exploring new opportunities for growth and development.

The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Kenya has responsibility for Uganda, as well as Burundi, Malawi, Union of Comoros Islands, Tanzania, and Rwanda. The meeting between President Museveni and Ambassador Pravednyk highlights the importance of diplomatic relations between Uganda and Ukraine in promoting peace, stability, and economic growth in the region.
